Welcome to Wellness at Jefferson College!
Your well-being matters to us. Our employee wellness program is here to support you with practical resources and opportunities that fit into your life. Our employee wellness program is built around four key dimensions: financial, physical, social, and mental well-being. Throughout the year, you'll have access to free health screenings, counseling services available to all full-time employees, and a wellness fair where you can explore everything available to you. We also host fun wellness challenges, which are a great way to connect with colleagues, stay motivated, and earn prizes along the way. Whether you're looking for health support, stress management, opportunities to connect with others, or other tools at your disposal, we are here to help spotlight the resources that are available to you.
Quest Biometric Screenings: Tuesday, November 10
Quest Diagnostics will be on campus for a venipuncture biometric screening on Tuesday, November 10 from 8am - 12pm in the Viking Room. The screening will test biometrics (height, weight, waist, blood pressure), body mass index (BMI), blood glucose, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and TC/HDL ratio. Full-time employees and spouses who are covered on the College’s insurance are eligible. The cost of the screening will be covered by insurance. The online scheduler is now open and will remain open until November 9. Visit My.QuestForHealth.com to register an account and/or log in to schedule an appointment.

Highlights From Our Previous Events & Challenges
2026 Wellness Fair
The Wellness Subcommittee facilitated their annual Wellness Fair for employees on Wednesday, September 30 in the Field House. The event included a flu shot clinic, chair massages, free smoothies and t-shirts, therapy dogs, visits from PSRS/PEERS and Equitable, healthy treats prepared by Jefferson College Culinary students, group CPR training sessions facilitated by Jefferson College EMS students, and visits from several other community partners who came to serve as vendors. The event also included a handful of free health screenings for employees including cholesterol and blood sugar checks, a skin analyzer, spirometry screenings, blood pressure checks, and consultations.
