Regular Help Desk Hours

  • Monday-Thursday, 8 AM - 8 PM
  • Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
  • Saturday, 9 AM - 4 PM

The Helpdesk is closed on Holidays, Inclement Weather Days, and Unexpected Campus Closures.

For walk-in assistance, the Helpdesk office is open Monday-Friday, 8 am-4 pm (when campus is open), located in the Technology Center, ASC Computer Lab, Room 103.

How To's

Access to Microsoft Products

Microsoft Office 365 is offered at no additional cost to Students and Faculty.

To active this software:

  • Log-in to https://www.office.com/
  • Use your Jeffco ID and password information to activate the
    software.
  • Steps to set up the MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) and install the Microsoft Office applications to your computer (Note: Microsoft applications cannot be installed on a Chromebook. Only the online version is available)

You can also access the Microsoft 365 software through the MyJeffco location. Follow the steps shown
in the screenshot to access Microsoft through MyJeffco.

  1. Visit www.jeffco.edu and click on MyJeffco in the top header.
  2. Login to MyJeffco
  3. Once logged in, under Quicklinks, select Microsoft Office.

Upon separation from Jefferson College, Microsoft 365 accounts, stored documents, and access to 365 applications is discontinued.

Location and Staff

JCOOL is located in Technology Center Room 101, while the Helpdesk is the Technology Center, Room 103, in the same area as the Academic Success Center.
