About the Foundation

A quality education should be within everyone's reach. Partner with the Jefferson College Foundation to ensure that the next generation of Jefferson County can thrive.

Mission

The mission of Jefferson College Foundation, a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is to increase resources, to raise funds and to cultivate friends and partnerships to support Jefferson College and its mission.

History and Values

The Jefferson College Foundation was founded in 1991 to provide financial support of Jefferson College and its mission, with a special focus on providing scholarships and grants for students across all programs of study. Offering residents an affordable, high-quality education is critical to the success of Jefferson County. While Jefferson College operates as a tax-supported entity, the cost of education continues to rise and funding is not guaranteed through traditional state or federal sources.

Accordingly, the Foundation Board of Directors is dedicated to supporting the College by pursuing partnerships and securing resources through direct investments of cash and/or pledges and in-kind gifts from local businesses, organizations and individuals.

As the designated 501(c)(3) fundraising partner for Jefferson College, the Jefferson College Foundation is a valuable complement to the Jefferson College Board of Trustees, shaping Jefferson College’s future and enhancing its success.

Investments in the Jefferson College Foundation ensure that our region will continue to be enriched and served by Jefferson College for generations to come.
