Pinning Ceremony
Guests with Disabilities
Jefferson College welcomes family members and guests with disabilities to the Pinning Ceremony 2026. Graduating Students are strongly encouraged to contact the Accessibility Resource Office as soon as possible if you have any questions, located in the Charles McClain Hall Room 104 (formerly ASII Room 303), (636) 797-3000 ext. 3158 or (636) 481-3158 or by email: aro@jeffco.edu.
Accessible seating is available for guests with disabilities in the Jeffco Cafeteria located in the Student Center. Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The college will make every effort to accommodate guests with disabilities.
Students with Disabilities

Accessible Parking
Individuals possessing state issued accessible placards or license plates should follow the signs from Mel Carnahan Drive to the accessible parking area (Red parking lot located across from the Student Center). Inform a parking attendant that you are going to the Red parking lot for accessible parking and the attendant will direct you. Transportation services to and from the Field House will be provided. See the parking attendant for assistance.
If you do not have a placard or plate, you need to contact the Accessibility Resource Office, [located in room 303 in the Arts and Sciences II building, (636) 797-3000 ext. 3158 or (636) 481-3158, TTY dial 711 or by email to: aro@jeffco.edu] for a temporary accessible parking tag to be mailed to you.
ASL Interpreter Request Upon request an ASL interpreter will be present at the Commencement 2026 and Pinning Ceremony. The final date for requesting an interpreter is Thursday, May 8th, 2026. Spring & Summer 2026 Graduation Application Deadline
Planning to graduate in Spring or Summer 2026? Submit your Application for Graduation by Tuesday, March 31 to be included in the Spring 2026 Commencement ceremony and official program.
Students graduating in Summer 2026 who wish to participate in the ceremony must be enrolled in their required summer courses.
To participate in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony, visit the Commencement 2026 webpage for details on submitting your RSVP and ordering your cap and gown by March 31. Under “Commencement Information,” select “Students and Graduates” to complete both steps.
Not sure if you’re on track to graduate? Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor for a degree audit. Log in to MyJeffco, select the “Student” tab, click “Advisor,” and choose “Advisor Scheduling,” or call (636) 481-3209.
After you apply and your academic review is complete, you will receive an eligibility status letter and Exit Exam information by mail at the address on file.

Transferring Accommodations
If you are transferring to 4-year college after graduation and are planning on applying for accommodations at your new school.
Then please following the steps below:
- Make contact with your new school's Access/Accessibility Office and let them know that you had accommodations here at Jeffco.
- After your meeting with them, email the ARO at aro@jeffco.edu with the following information:
- I, (fill in your full name) am requesting that you send a list of my accommodations to (fill in the name of your new school)
- To (fill in the name of the person you spoke in the Access/Accessibility Office at the new school)
- Their phone number
- Their email address
If you are wanting a physical copy of your IEP, 504 Plan or medical documentation that you provided the ARO over the years that you attended Jeffco, please add that at the bottom of your email. These documents can not be emailed or faxed to you - you have to come to the ARO to pick them up.
Please allow 2-3 business days, you will receive an email when the packet is ready for pick-up.
Remember Jeffco is only open Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm., and will be closed Thursday 7/2/2026 in observance of the 4th of July.
