- Struggle with various medical conditions or mental health issues.
- Have had an accident that requires temporary accommodations to assist you.

Finals
If you are applying for testing accommodations to use for your final exams, please be aware that the cutoff to have your intake completed by the ARO Coordinator (this is the final step of the process of applying for accommodations) is the Tuesday before the week of finals, on December 2, to allow enough time for the following to happen:
- Your accommodation letter to be finalized and sent to you and the Testing Center.
- You will then share via email a copy of your letter of accommodations with your instructor following the required template on the ARO Canvas page.
- You email in place of having an in-person meeting (if an online class) or meet with your instructor(s) during office hours (if an in-person class) to discuss your accommodations and their implementation in the class.
- You contact the Testing Center (636-481-3147) and reserve a day and time to take your final with your testing accommodations.
- You arrange for any necessary training with the Accessibility Resource Office (636-481-3162) should you have testing accommodations that require the use of any technology.
- Your instructor(s) can complete the required Testing Center referral form, adjust the time on the test, and send it to the Testing Center.
