Adult Education & Literacy

The Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) program is funded through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is the only accredited program in Jefferson County. That is why these classes can be offered at no cost to students. However to maintain funding, it is important that enrolled students demonstrate a commitment to the program with regard to attendance and academic achievement including a pre and post test to measure academic gain.
AEL has so much to offer. Everything from completing your high school education to taking the first steps to your career.
Jefferson College is pleased to be able to provide this opportunity for students to discover their future, and invite potential students to register!
