Employment Services Events
NOTE: Registration for the 2023 Career Expo is now closed. Stay tuned for upcoming events.
The purpose of the free event is to provide students with information about a variety of professions before they make career decisions. Students obtain a better grasp of their options by being exposed to a variety of job areas. It is one of many learning opportunities Jefferson College provides as a leader in career and technical education. Representatives from area businesses, industry and the community are invited to answer questions about career opportunities, employment possibilities, and future job trends, while presenting hands-on demonstrations.
Some of the many career fields/professionals that are needed include:
- Arts/Humanities
- Business
- Healthcare
- Human Services
- Manufacturing
- Natural Resources/Agriculture
There is no cost for career professionals/experts to participate in the expo. Set-up begins at 7 a.m. and registration includes a table, chairs, and complimentary breakfast. The educational expo is not a recruiting event and attending students will not be eligible for hire.
Explore your career using FOCUS2. Take career assessments and research career options. NOTE: jefferson is the registration key.
