Jefferson College Student Senate is a group of students who represent the students of Jefferson College.
The Senate emphasizes a wide array of programs including representational events, community service projects, and activities for the student body. Senators are involved with campus committees that make decisions that affect students. It is the Student Senate's job to make sure that the opinions of the student body are provided to the college administration.
As a Senator you will be provided with the opportunity to develop effective leadership skills, learn about the college, add to your college/employment resume, have fun and make friends!
The Student Senate President and Vice President have special scholarship opportunities for serving in these positions.
Some of our yearly events include:
- Club Spirit Days
- Day of Service
- Shocktober or a community fall festival
- Adopt-a-Family for the holidays
- Campus Toy Drive
Currently, the Senate is meeting virtually on the second Thursday of each month at 2PM. Email Brandi Gallaway- firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
