Green Alliance-Conservation Club

The purpose of the Green Alliance-Conservation Club (GACC) is to give Jefferson College students the opportunity to get involved in green spaces. We hope to instill all members with the knowledge and tools needed to safely navigate their journey into environmental stewardship, and activism.

Our aim is to advocate for green alternatives on campus as well as provide students with volunteer opportunities, and social events that promote conservation. 

Meetings:

  • Second Monday of the Month
  • Spring 2024: February 12, March 11, April 8 & May 13
  • 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.  
  • ASI Room 119

  • Foraging Education
  • Promoting Green Alternatives
  • Promoting Green Spaces
  • Community Garden
  • Advocating for Outdoor Classrooms
  • Trail Maintenance
  • Updating Trail Markers
