Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) deals with the practice of gas metal arc welding in all positions as well as inspection and testing procedures. Plasma arc cutting is also

Bio: Lucas Carter has been a full-time instructor at Jefferson College since fall of 2024. He completed three years of Metal Fabrication at Jefferson College - ATS during high school and received a Certificate of Mastery. After high school, he earned his A.A.S from Jefferson College in Welding Technology. Mr. Carter worked at a Department of Defense subcontractor where he fabricated complex components for the U.S. Navy, many of which will see service well into the 2080s+. In his spare time, he enjoys fabricating personal projects, traveling, camping, hunting, and off-roading.
