Anatomy & Physiology
The Biology Department at Jefferson College provides students with a strong foundation in the study of the life sciences. Students working toward a degree in any of the Natural Sciences have the opportunity to investigate each of the major areas of study of all life forms starting with the microscopic to the most complex. The department serves a wide range of students from non-majors fulfilling their graduation requirements in the biological sciences to those pursuing pre-professional programs such as pre-medicine and pre-pharmacy, as well as many Allied Health professions. The Biology department also works cooperatively with Career and Technical Education at Jefferson College in the Nursing and Veterinary Technology curriculum.
