Start Your Holiday Shopping at the Handmade Market on 11/7

Jefferson College invites the community to kick off the holiday shopping season at the Jefferson College Handmade Market on Saturday, November 7, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., in the Field House on the Hillsboro campus. The event will feature local crafters, unique handmade gifts, family-friendly activities and a special visit from Santa.

Shoppers can browse a wide variety of handcrafted items and creative gifts from talented local crafters. From holiday decorations to one-of-a-kind treasures, the market offers an opportunity to shop local, discover unique creations and support a great cause.

New this year, families can enjoy a free Kids’ Corner, hosted by students in Jefferson College's ECE210 early childhood education course. The Kids’ Corner will offer fun, hands-on activities designed especially for children from 9:30-11 a.m. Conveniently located near Santa, the activity area provides an opportunity for children to enjoy creative activities while waiting for their visit with Santa.

Proceeds from the Handmade Market will benefit the Jefferson College Early Childhood Center, helping support early childhood education and learning opportunities.

The event will take place at the Jefferson College Field House, located at 1000 Viking Drive in Hillsboro. Community members are encouraged to bring their families, enjoy the festive atmosphere and support local crafters while contributing to a meaningful cause.
