5K Run/Walk Supports Jefferson College Annual Fund Drive

The fifth annual Jefferson College 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, November 7, on the Hillsboro campus.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Fine Arts Theatre. There is a $15 entry fee. The run will start at 9:30, followed by the walk at 10 a.m.

Open to all ages and fitness levels, 5K Run/Walk registration forms are available by clicking here or by calling (636) 797-3000, extension 105.

The annual event is hosted by the Jefferson College Faculty Senate as part of the Foundation’s Annual Fund Drive, which raises money to provide scholarships to needy students, support faculty and staff development, and help student organizations.

Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Nov. 14

The fourth annual Jefferson College Baseball Hall of Fame Banquet will include the induction of three honorees including Cliff Politte, Kevin Lucas and Terry Cochran on Saturday, November 14, at 7 p.m. at the Best Western (formerly Holiday Inn) in Festus. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.

This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony follows last year’s induction of Mike Henneman, Harold Oetting in 2007 and Dave Oster in 2006.
