3 Weeks Until College Becomes Smoke-Free/Tobacco-Free

Jefferson College is becoming a healthier place to learn, live and work. . .following a year-long transition, only 3 weeks remain until Jefferson College becomes a smoke-free and tobacco-free environment (beginning August 18).

The health-conscious Board of Trustees policy prohibits the use of tobacco and all smoke-related products (including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, smokeless/chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes, herbal smoke products, hookahs, and beedies) in any college location other than inside personal vehicles. It applies to all students, college employees, contractors, performers, and campus visitors. Violators will be subject to a $25 fine.

Thanks for helping Jeffco “kick butts” to become a healthier place for higher learning!
