Speaker Series events begin at 11:45 a.m. Each monthly program will be held in the Viking Room of the Student Center on the Hillsboro campus. Admission is $7 per person, which includes a buffet lunch with beverages and dessert.

Presentation: The Great American Eclipse Comes to Jefferson County*
Presenter: Dr. Robert Brazzle, Jefferson College Physics Instructor

* On August 21, 2017, the dark shadow of the Moon will trace a path across our entire country.
The path of this total Solar eclipse passes right through Jefferson County. Many in the know
are predicting that we will witness the greatest movement of humanity in our country's history -
maybe 700 million people will move into the eclipse path that day. Dr. Bob Brazzle will speak
about this event and Jefferson College's plans to host an observing event on campus that day.
Friday Speaker Series presenters represent a broad spectrum of fields and subjects including regional, national and international agencies and organizations; regional landmarks; education; historical events; professional sports; and film and television.
