Jefferson College Announces 2026 Youth Summer Camps

Jefferson College is offering a variety of summer camps in 2026 designed to engage students through athletics, the arts, and hands-on learning experiences. Hosted on the Hillsboro campus, these camps provide opportunities for participants to build skills, explore interests, and learn from experienced instructors in a supportive college environment.

Jefferson College Basketball will offer a full lineup of summer camps and team shootouts for boys and girls in grades 3–12. Led by Head Coach CB Walker, assistant coaches, and players, camps will take place in the Field House and include middle school and high school team shootouts, as well as individual development opportunities. A Youth Basketball Camp for grades 3–8 will be held June 30 through July 2, with sessions divided by grade level to focus on fundamentals, drills, and gameplay. An Elite Shooting Camp for grades 6–12 will also be offered, emphasizing advanced shooting techniques and scoring skills.

The Little Vikings Cheer Camp & Performance, scheduled for June 1–3, invites students in grades 1–5 to learn cheer techniques from Jefferson College cheerleaders and coaches. The camp includes crafts, games, and concludes with a performance during an awards ceremony. The program is open to all skill levels.

For students interested in music, the Jefferson College Jazz Camp will take place June 1–4 in the Fine Arts Center. Open to students ages 14 and older, this camp focuses on small ensemble performance and improvisation. Participants will learn from a faculty of experienced musicians while developing their skills in a collaborative setting.

Jefferson College will also host a Digital Creators Camp June 8–10 for students in grades 7–12. This camp introduces participants to digital media, including video editing, social media strategy, and podcast production. Students will gain hands-on experience and create their own podcast episode.

All camps are designed to provide high-quality instruction while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. Space is limited for each program, and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
