Jefferson College Serving as Host Site for Elder Abuse & Neglect Awareness Forum – October 27

Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger and State Senator Adam Schnelting will host an Elder Abuse & Neglect Awareness Forum on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Jefferson College’s Little Theater (ASI), located at 1000 Viking Drive, Hillsboro, MO 63050.

The event is part of Wasinger’s statewide “Protect Our Seniors” Tour, aimed at raising awareness about elder abuse prevention and connecting Missouri families with important resources and support.

The Jefferson County forum will include a presentation by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and offer attendees an opportunity to learn more about identifying, preventing, and reporting elder abuse and neglect.
