Accessibility Resource Office
The Accessibility Resource Office (ARO) of Jefferson College ensures compliance under the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. This is achieved by determining reasonable accommodations "that/to" provide equal access to the educational opportunities on campus for students who qualify with a documented disability(ies), to assist students in learning or improving self-advocacy skills and to protect their right to privacy.

Applying for Accommodations
Eligible students with disabilities can utilize support services and receive various accommodations by submitting an application with the ARO.
Important Dates
It is critical that students are prompt when applying for accommodations to ensure that the ARO has adequate time to provide any and all necessary services. The ARO compiles a list of many deadlines for various events.
