Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Program


What is an EMR? 

Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) are first responders who provide emergency lifesaving care to patients.


How do I become and EMR? 

This program will provide students with knowledge and skills including patient assessment, bleeding control, muscular-skeletal injuries, respiratory emergencies, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED). The program will allow students to earn the Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Responder (NREMT) certification and lead to an entry level job in the field or a student could continue on the EMT/ Paramedic educational pathway.
