    Bio: Janet currently serves Jefferson College as the Associate Dean of Science and Health. She holds her Master`s Degree in Educational Technology from Missouri Baptist University, she graduated in 2007 with her Bachelors of Science Degree in Public Administration from Central Methodist University and obtained her Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology in 1997. She is also an ARRT Registered Mammographer and has worked in the field of radiology for 16 years in a combination of modalities including: Mammography, CT Scan, Angiography, general radiography and Fluoroscopy. She has also served as a clinical instructor and adjunct faculty for other radiology programs. Janet serves on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists and is member of American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

    Bio: Maryanne Angliongto has been a full-time instructor at Jefferson College since the fall of 2007. She earned her A.A.S. from ITT Technical Institute in Electronics Engineering Technology, her B.S./B.A. from UCLA in Astrophysics and Ancient Near Eastern Civilizations, and her M.S. from California State University, Los Angeles, in Physics, with her thesis research on asteroid photometry. Ms. Angliongto has worked in electronics production at the UCLA Infrared Instrumentation Laboratory, which has built instrumentation for the Keck Telescope in Hawaii. She enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, reading, astronomy, live concerts, and learning new subjects.

  • Andrew Binder

    Bio: Andrew Binder is a bassist and composer from St. Louis, Missouri. Andrew holds a D.M.A. from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in Jazz Performance with a cognate in Music Composition, a M.M. in Music Composition from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, and B.M.A. degrees in Composition, Jazz Studies and Double Bass Performance from Bowling Green State University.

    Some of his accomplishments include winner of the 2018 Ensemble Ibis Competition Graduate division for his piece Brux, winner of the 26th Annual Craig`s Keyboards/UT Young Composer`s Competition; Finalist in the 2014 Douglas Wayland Chamber Competition Graduate Division; Works performed or recorded by new music groups Dal Niente, Ritual Action, and Ensemble Ibis; works read by the Toledo Symphony Orchestra and members of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra; Arrangements recorded or performed by University of Studio Jazz Band, Miami Vocal Jazz Ensemble, University of Illinois` Concert Jazz Band and Repertory Jazz Orchestra. Andrew has also participated in the Charlotte New Music Festival and the Dal Niente + DePaul Summer Residency for New Music, and is a current participant in the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop under the direction of Alan Ferber and Andy Farber.

    As a bassist, Andrew has performed in a wide variety of groups with high-caliber musicians throughout the US. Some notable musicians include Chip McNeill, Joel Spencer, Tito Carrillo, Larry Gray, Chip Stephens, Mark Tonelli, Jose Gobbo, Dave Stone, and Tammy McCann.

    Bio: Michael Booker has been the Division Chair of Communication and Fine Arts since 2013; he has taught Philosophy at Jefferson College since 1999. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Mankato State University (now Minnesota State University at Mankato) in 1982. He earned his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Philosophy at the University of Tennessee in 1987 and 1990. His major area of study in graduate school was Medical Ethics. Michael has been married to Anne Christiansen since 1987. They have two sons, Jonathan and Timothy. He is retired from the Army Reserve, having attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a member of the Institutional Ethics Committee at Mercy Hospital - Jefferson. He is chair of the Jefferson College Institutional Review Board. He has also appeared on the Jefferson College stage, with roles in over a dozen theatrical productions including "Noises Off," "Comedy of Errors," "The Wizard of Oz," and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

    Bio: Joe Haack brings experience from rural EMS, urban EMS, disaster response team, state testing, and a pediatric hospital into his role. His educational background includes a Bachelors degree from Lindenwood University in Fire and Paramedic Science, a Masters degree from Webster University in Business Administration, and is currently working on his Doctorate degree in education from Maryville University. Joe is married, has five children, and spends his free time...wait...Joe doesn`t have free time! If he did, though, he would spend it reading books and mountain biking.

  • Taylor Hesskamp

    Bio: Taylor Hesskamp is an enthusiastic teacher and performer in the greater St. Louis area. She currently is the adjunct flute professor at McKendree University and Jefferson College. In 2021, she graduated with her masters degree in flute performance from the world-renowned Royal College of Music which was recently ranked as the top institution in the world for Performing Arts in the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2022. While at the RCM, Taylor studied with flute with Gitte Marcusson and Adam Walker, as well as piccolo with Stewart McIlwham. She had the opportunity to perform with the RCM Philharmonic, RCM Symphony Orchestra, RCM Opera, and many chamber groups during her time there. Taylor received her bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2019 where she studied with Dr. Shelly Monier. In her time there she performed with Wind Symphony, Orchestra, and Flute Choir. During her time at SIUe, she won the Concerto Competition as a sophomore and performed the first movement of CPE Bach`s Concerto in d Minor with the Orchestra.

    Taylor was a member of the St. Louis Youth Symphony Orchestra for three years where she played flute and piccolo. She was awarded first place in the Flute Society of St. Louis competition in both high school and college, first prize in the Central Ohio Flute Association competition, as well as alternate in Atlanta Flute Club?s Young Artist competition. Taylor has attended flute camps including the Iowa Flute Intensive, Whole Flutes, the Consummate Flutist, the Wildacres Flute Retreat, and the Aria Summer Academy where she was able to perform in many masterclasses.

    Taylor currently teaches private flute lessons at Palen Music and early music classes to students ages four to eight years old at Oakhaven Montessori. She also teaches flute lessons in the Mehlville school district. Taylor loves spreading her love for music to absolutely anyone willing to learn.

    Bio: Dr. McCaffrey has been with Jefferson College since 2007. She began teaching as an adjunct instructor in the Fall of 2008. She continued her education at Saint Louis University where she earned her Master of Business Administration in 1996 and her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration in 2012.     Bio: Mrs. McDaniel began her career in the healthcare field in 1994 as a certified nurse aide. She then pursued a career in massage therapy and worked as a licensed massage therapist until 2007. She returned to school as a non-traditional student and is a 2009 Jefferson College nursing alumna. She obtained her BSN with Chamberlain College where she graduated cum laude with Presidential Honors in 2012, and completed her MSN degree in education graduating cum laude in 2017. Her nursing background is medical/surgical nursing, outpatient surgery, surgical intensive care, and neuro intensive care. Mrs. McDaniel joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2012 as a faculty instructor and accepted program directorship in 2019.

    Bio: Ms. Dana Nevois is the Director of the Jefferson College Veterinary Technology Program. Dana graduated from the Jefferson College Veterinary Technology Program in 1998 and is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Additionally, she received her Master`s degree in Business Administration from Missouri Baptist College in 2009, her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Missouri Baptist College in 2002, and her A.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Jefferson College in 1996. She has worked in the veterinary field as an RVT in both small animal and laboratory animal medicine. Dana`s current duties include planning, guiding, monitoring and coordinating the activities of the Veterinary Technology Program. She also teaches part-time in the program and holds a career education teaching certificate.

    Dana attends seminars and workshops to stay current in the fields of veterinary medicine and education. Dana also maintains her professional veterinary technician license and is a member of several professional organizations including the Missouri Veterinary Technician Association, the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators, and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America.

    Bio: Mrs. Rola graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2015. She completed the Pediatrics fellowship at Mercy St. Louis and worked in a variety of settings in the Women`s and Children`s tower. Since graduating, Mrs. Rola has obtained her certification as a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) and Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurse (APHON) Provider. In addition to her role as Clinical Coordinator, Mrs. Rola has taught pediatric clinical rotations and simulation experiences for Jefferson College. She is also now pursuing her MSN-Ed from Walden University.     Bio: Having finished her Master`s degree program in Sports Management at Missouri Baptist University in the fall of 2007, Aida Steiger teaches in the Health and Physical Education Department and serves as Head Volleyball Coach at Jefferson College. As a player at Jefferson College and St. Louis University, she received numerous awards and accolades while breaking several records. She tied the record for most kills in NCAA history and was ranked second nationally in kills while at Jefferson College. During her athletic career at St. Louis University, Aida was the program`s first AVCA All-American, First Team All-District, and First Team All-Conference USA. She was the first person in any sport to be named C-USA Player of the Week four times in the same season. Aida hold NJCAA, NCAA, and AVCA All-American rankings. Her other awards include MCCAC All-Conference, Region 16 All-Region Team, Who`s Who Among Students at American Junior Colleges, Conference USA All-Conference, St. Louis University MVP 2004-05, Fairfield Invitational MVP, Billiken All-Tournament Team, and AVCA All-Region Team.

    Bio: Stacy currently serves as the Interim Program Director of Radiologic Technology. She holds her Master`s of Arts in Teaching from the University of Saint Mary. In 2000, she graduated with her Bachelor`s of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas and obtained her Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology in 2003. She has worked in the field of radiology for many years but has spent the majority of her career in education. She has also served as faculty, clinical coordinator, and program director for other radiology programs. Stacy serves on the Board of Directors for the North St. Francois County School District and is the ECE co-chair for the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology, and the National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges (NN2).

    Bio: Kenny received his BS in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 1991 and MHS from Washington University of Saint Louis in 2001. Kenny is also a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, a Certified Hand Therapist, and Certified Athletic Trainer. He has spent his 20+year career focused on treating orthopedic patients. Although Kenny has treated a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses, his area of focus has been the care of upper extremity injuries in the athletic and industrial populations. In addition to his role as Division Chair of Health Occupation Programs and adjunct faculty for the OTA and PTA Programs at Jefferson College, Kenny has served as an adjunct faculty member at Saint Louis University in the School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Kenny is a member of the National Athletic Trainer`s Association, American Physical Therapy Association, National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges, and the Missouri Community College Association.

    Bio: Brandon Yenzer graduated from Missouri State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music Education and in 2018 from University of North Texas with a Master of Music in Trombone Performance. He has performed with many collegiate ensembles, including the Jazz Band, Jazz Studies Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble at MSU and the jazz Lab Bands, Concert Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Baroque Orchestra at UNT, as well as trombone choirs and quartets at both institutions. He has had an extensive freelancing career, spanning music from the Baroque and Renaissance eras to orchestral mega works to jazz and musical theater. He is also a prolific educator, teaching masterclasses, band camps, and private lessons since 2012.
