Free Outdoor Family Movie Night - Sept. 17

Jefferson College is excited to welcome students, employees and community members to the Hillsboro campus on Friday, September 17, for a free outdoor family movie night on the student center lawn. Items from the food trucks will be available for purchase at 5:30 p.m. and the movie, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, will start at 7 p.m. 

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please remember to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Spire launches program with Jefferson College

Spire launches program with Jefferson College

Spire and Jefferson College are teaming up to help prepare students for careers in the natural gas industry. This fall, Jefferson College students can apply for the Spire Cooperative Education Program at Jefferson College – a two-year educational, hands-on experience that prepares participants to become highly skilled technicians in the natural gas field, while they complete a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) associate’s degree.

To qualify for the program, students must have a 2.5 GPA and complete an interview process.

Law Enforcement Academy Application Deadline Extended

Law Enforcement Academy Application Deadline Extended

The application deadline for the Jefferson College Law Enforcement Academy day class (anticipated start date in August) has been extended. Please call the academy at (636) 481-3425 for details.

The deadline for the POST class (anticipated start date in October) has been changed to August 20.

Dean’s List Announced for Spring 2021

Jefferson College Dean's List Spring 2021

Jefferson College Vice President of Student Services, Kimberly Harvey-Manus, has announced the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester, containing the names of 604 students who earned the academic recognition.

To qualify for the Dean’s List honor, full-time students must achieve a grade point average of 3.25 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) in at least 12 graded credit hours taken that semester. Part-time students who accumulate 12 or more graded credit hours with a 3.25 grade point average also qualify and must contact the Vice President of Student Services Office within ten days of grade reporting to be included.
