Capstone Professional Nursing focuses on the integration of nursing knowledge and incorporates study skills, a summative review of nursing
knowledge, and test-taking strategies to prepare the graduate professional nurse to take the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN). The goal of this capstone course is to prepare the student for the transition to the graduate nurse role. (F, S)

Bio: Mrs. Record graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State) in 1995. The majority of her career has been in Perioperative Nursing. She also has experience in ENT, OB clinic, missions, and Urgent Care settings. In 2015, Mrs. Record joined Jefferson College as an adjunct clinical instructor. Since then, she has moved into the Simulation lab and didactic instruction in the classroom, accepting a full-time faculty role in 2021. Mrs. Record is passionate about sharing her nursing knowledge with nursing students.
