Course Description: Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency and one of the following math requirements:
ACT math score of 27+ within two years plus either high school trigonometry or precalculus with a grade of "C" or better
MTH141 with a grade of "C" or better
MTH134/134H with a grade of "C" or better and MTH133 with a grade of "C" or better
Accuplacer Next Gen advanced algebra and functions score of 265+ within two years
Accuplacer Next Gen trigonometry score of 46+ within two years
Calculus I covers limits, continuity, differentiation, and integration. A graphing calculator is required. Students cannot apply both MTH161 and MTH180 toward graduation. (F,S,Su)
