Course Description: Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency and one of the following math requirements:
3.0+ HS GPA, HiSET Career/College Ready, or GED 175+ within five years
ACT math score of 22+ within two years
JC NON-STEM Math Readiness Test score of 50+ within two years
Accuplacer Next Gen quantitative reasoning score of 240+ within two years
Accuplacer elementary algebra score of 107+ within two years
Accuplacer college level math score of 39+ within two years
MTH002 or 084 with a grade of "A"
MTH110 or MTH128 with a grade of "C"or better

MTH092 Support for Introductory Statistics can be taken concurrently if the following is met:

Introductory Statistics is an introduction to the use of basic tools and methods of probability and statistics. Students will use these tools to describe populations and find their place within them, explore the relationship between related phenomena and use it to make predictions, and determine the likelihood of particular outcomes in given situations. Students may not apply both MTH132 and MTH168 toward graduation. (F)
