Course Description: Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency and one of the following math requirements:
3.0+ HS GPA, HiSET Career/College Ready, or GED 175+ within five years
ACT math score of 22+ within two years
Accuplacer Next Gen quantitative reasoning score of 240+ within two years
Accuplacer elementary algebra score of 107+ within two years
Accuplacer college level math score of 44+ within two years
MTH128 with a grade of "C" or better
MTH002 with a grade of "A" or better
Structure of the Real Number System presents topics from algebra within the context of the whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and real numbers. Students will study topics from algebra which are appropriate for elementary education majors. This course fulfills the mathematics requirement for the Associate of Arts in Teaching degree. (F,S,Su)
