Course Description: Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency and one of the following math requirements:
3.0+ HS GPA, HiSET Career/College Ready, or GED 165+ within five years
ACT Math score of 18+ within two years
Accuplacer Next Gen advanced algebra and functions score of 230+ within two years
Accuplacer Next Gen quantitative reasoning score of 230+ within two years
Accuplacer elementary algebra score of 75+ within two years
Accuplacer college level math score of 20+ within two years
MTH002 with a minimum grade of C
Intermediate Algebra continues the development of the algebraic skills introduced in Beginning Algebra. (F,S,Su,O)

Bio: Bev Meyers holds a Certificate and an A.A.S. degree from St. Louis Community College. She earned her B.A. and M.Ed. at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ms. Meyers also holds an M.A.T. from Webster University. She serves as the program coordinator for the Math/P.E. division at Jefferson College.
