Bio: David has been in higher education for over thirty years, serving as an admissions counselor, music professor, and academic administrator at several community colleges across Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. While teaching in Kansas, he served the Kansas Choral Directors Association as Repertoire & Standards Chair for Two-Year Colleges and Community Choirs. He also held the role of Repertoire & Standards Chair for Community Choirs in the Southwest Division of the American Choral Directors Association. Since March 2021, David has served Jefferson College as an advising specialist, working primarily with STEM and Fine Arts/Humanities transfer students. He currently serves as president of the Missouri Academic Advising Association (MACADA). David holds a Master of Church Music from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Audry have seven grown children and fourteen grandchildren.
