Course Description: Prerequisites: Admission to the Law Enforcement Academy and reading proficiency
Law Enforcement Organizational Leadership is the study of organization and
administration systems used in modern law enforcement agencies. Emphasis will be on the characteristics of organizations and personnel, control and responsibility of a cohesive working structure and general principles of public administration. This coursework uses the current Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) curriculum related to criminal investigation. (D)
