Emergency Medical Technician II builds on the Emergency Medical Technician I coursework as it prepares an individual in all phases of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) care with the focus on general emergency care, patient assessment, handling, and transport as related to traumatic injuries for pediatric and adult patients, orthopedic injuries, in depth ambulance and hospital processes, and unique issues associated with obstetric, neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric patient care.
