Ashley McGee
Head Coach

Ashley McGee served as the women’s basketball assistant coach at Iowa Western Community College since 2015, where she also taught Coaching Theory I and II. During her tenure, Iowa Western had a 77 percent win record, had been ranked nationally, and qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament in 2016-17. 

In addition to her experience at Iowa Western, McGee was the women’s basketball graduate assistant at Cardinal Stritch University from 2013-15, head coach for Rising Force girls AAU from 2013-15, and volunteer assistant coach at Pius XI High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2012.

McGee holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Johnson C. Smith University.


Mariah West
Assistant Coach

Coach West is from St. Louis, MO. and graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. West has been involved with basketball for about 20 years, playing at almost every level, including being the first female practice player at a MAJOR D1 school.

West has coached with the St. Louis Eagles, now the Bradley Beal Elite organization for a couple years, and at a few middle schools in the area.
