|Jefferson College is pleased to announce the addition of our NEW Jefferson County Code Enforcement Board-Approved course offerings for area Plumbers, Lawn Irrigation Professionals, Drainlayers, and Sprinklerfitters. These courses are approved to meet the PEU requirements by the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Board. NOTE: Not all of these courses are approved for ALL of the plumbing related trades. Exceptions will be noted under the course content.|

2009 International Plumbing Code Book
Jefferson County Code Amendments
This course will explain the sections of the 2009 International Plumbing Code and what sections of the code to look up for specific answers to ensure code standards. We will review the Jefferson County amendments and how they affect plumbing installations.
*This course has been approved by the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Board as a CODE course worth 2.0 PEUs toward the current license cycle for Plumbers, Drainlayers, and Lawn Irrigation Professionals.
This course will explain how to successfully estimate drain, waste, and vent water systems. This course will also focus on obtaining material take off and on how to put together a successful bid proposal and prepare a contract.
NOTE: This course has been approved by the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Board and is designated as an ELECTIVE course, worth 2.0 PEUs toward the current licensing cycle for Plumbers, Drainlayers, and Lawn Irrigation Professionals.
Plumbing Blue Print Reading*
This course will explain how to successfully interpret plumbing drainage and water distribution systems with a focus on material take off and how to make and understand isometric drawings. *NOTE: This course has been approved by the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Board as a CODE course worth 2.0 PEUs toward the current license cycle for Plumbers, Drainlayers, Sprinklerfitters, and Lawn Irrigation Professionals.

We are pleased to introduce our new instructor, Charles Redecker. He comes to us with vast experience and a great deal of specialized training with multiple certifications crossing numerous disciplines. Charles will be instructing our Plumbing, Drainlaying, Sprinklerfitter and Lawn Irrigation courses. His impressive credentials and experience are outlined below.
