Adult Education/Literacy

Adult Education classes provide the opportunity for adults to improve their basic skills,
study for the HSE/HiSet test, and enhance their workforce and college readiness skills.

When you are ready to begin class, you and your instructor will design a plan of study, which
will help you to reach your goals. Jefferson College is please to be able to provide this opportunity 
to discover your future and we hope that you will join us soon.

The program funded through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is
offered at no cost to students. However to maintain funding, it is important that enrolled students
demonstrate a commitment to the program with regard to attendance and academic achievement
including a pre and post test to measure academic gain.

Orientation Schedule:

September 26 (Career Center Students Only) Hillsboro Campus Rm CTE 174 (5 pm - 8:30 pm)
November 3 & 4 Arnold Campus Rm 212 (10 am - 2 pm)
November 6 & 7 Hillsboro Campus Rm CTE 174 (10 am - 2 pm)/(5 pm - 8:30 pm)
