Jefferson College Co-Sponsors Concert by CMT Artist Courtney Cole Aug. 10

In conjunction with the Missouri Community College Association, Jefferson College is co-hosting a free concert on August 10 by Country Music Television (CMT) rising artist Courtney Cole in an effort to inspire people to further their education. 
The event encompasses CMT’s Empowering Education initiative and will be in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the campus of State Fair Community College in Sedalia (​3201 West 16th Street) the evening before opening of the Missouri State Fair.

Jefferson College MoSTEMWINs Grant - Tuition Waived for Qualified Applicants

For anyone who may be thinking about attending college this fall to train for an in-demand career, applications are still being accepted for the Electronics Technology Certificate (ETC) program at Jefferson College as part of the MoSTEMWINs grant related to high-demand fields in science, technology, engineering, and math.

For individuals who qualify, the College will waive all tuition costs other than lab fees, developmental courses, books, or supplies.

​Brandon Moonier Selected as Jefferson College 2016 Alumnus of the Year

The Jefferson College Faculty Senate recently selected Brandon Moonier of Crystal City as Jefferson College’s 2016 Alumnus of the Year.  

Award recipients must have graduated from Jefferson College with a certificate or associate degree, achieved distinction in his/her chosen field of employment, been involved in community service; and not presently serve as a trustee or an employee of Jefferson College. 

Jefferson College Achieves NACEP Accreditation

National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP)

Jefferson College is one of only 15 institutions across the nation recently granted accreditation from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) in connection with offering quality concurrent enrollment programs for high school students. 

The College is now among 98 institutions from coast to coast who have been awarded NACEP accreditation since the organization’s establishment in 1999.
