Welcome! Jefferson College Library is here to provide you with information, services and materials. Our friendly, qualified staff will do our best to help you find information and answer your questions. Our collection supports the research needs of students at the community college level. We recommend that you browse the collection to see if it meets your needs. For example, we do not purchase all of the best sellers or books on hobbies that one might expect to find in a public library. Advanced research needs beyond the first two years of college may not be met.

Borrowing Privileges

Jefferson County residents age 18 or older may purchase a library card for $5 per year. Residents sixty years old and older qualify for free borrowing privileges. Community borrowers may borrow a limited number of circulating books, magazines and circulating videotapes. The Library reserves the right to limit the number of items that may be checked out by community card holders so that sufficient resources are available for Jefferson College students.

Internet Access and Word Processing

Members of the community are invited to use the Library Information Commons to use word processing software and to connect to the Internet. However, Jefferson College students have priority in the use of the facilities. All users must comply with:

Jefferson College Academic Computing Policy
