What are Course Reserves?
Many Jefferson College faculty members place materials pertinent to your class on reserve such as required readings, journal articles, book chapters, specialized reference works, sample or past exams, videos, and occasionally extra copies of textbooks.
Other collections on permanent reserve are current almanacs, statistical reference books, English handbooks, CLEP test preparation book, Nursing department reference books, and Veterinary Technology reference books.

Where do I find Course Reserves?
Request Course Reserves at the first floor Circulation Desk at Hillsboro,
the Library desk at Arnold, and the office at Northwest.
For course specific reserves, it helps to know at least one of the
following: your course number, your course title, your instructor's name
and/or the subject of your course. Just ask for title or subject to request permanent reserve items. A student ID is required to check out Course Reserves.
How do I use Course Reserves?
Most Course Reserve materials may be used in the Library only.
Loan lengths and use restrictions are set by faculty members and
range from one hour use to one week. Students often study or read the
material in the Library, photocopy materials, or use our Video Viewing Rooms
to watch a film reserved for their course.
