Federal Depository Library: Government Documents Print

This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)

Jefferson College Library serves as a selective federal depository for Missouri's Third Congressional District through its participation in the Federal Depository Library Program. Many government publications are available in the Library in either a paper or an electronic format.

Examples of the type of material available are The Federal Register, Supreme Court decisions, The Congressional Record, The Handbook of Federal Domestic Assistance, census information, and income tax forms and publications. This collection is open to all residents of the Third Congressional District as well as to the students and faculty at Jefferson College. Many sites on the Internet provide access to government information.
