Going Green: Newsletter Subscription Available in Digital Format

Click Here for Online RegistrationTaking steps to become more environmentally responsible, Jefferson College is moving the distribution of its monthly public newsletter "The Windjammer" exclusively online beginning with its July edition.

The full-color newsletter contains a campus events calendar, information about items of interest such as awards and accolades, a review of each month's Board of Trustees meeting, news from the Jefferson College Foundation, athletics schedules/season highlights, and feature articles.

To sign up for the free newsletter, click the graphic on this page, visit the Jefferson College website at www.jeffco.edu, click on the "Publications" link on the home page, and then click on "Windjammer," or call the college's Marketing and Public Relations Department at (636) 789-3103 or (636) 797-3000, ext. 3103.

The newsletter will be emailed each month to those who subscribe.

"We're very excited to be able to expand readership of The Windjammer throughout the region while becoming more responsible regarding our environment," said Jefferson College Marketing and Public Relations Director Roger Barrentine. "For anyone wanting to keep current on the many exciting things happening at the college, The Windjammer's monthly content is a ‘must read'."

"The Windjammer" was created in the late 1970s in response to an accreditation team recommendation for improved communication and feedback. Since that time, it has grown steadily and now serves as an external information tool to complement Jefferson College's numerous community outreach efforts.
