Adjunct Instructors

Jefferson College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach the Spring 2010 semester.

Arts & Science Education:  Art, Biology, English, Geography, HPE/Water Fitness, Math, Music, Philosophy and Speech Communication.  Qualifications:  Master's degree in subject area with a minimum of 18 graduate level semester hours in field.  (Master's degree and American Red Cross Water Safety (WSI) certification required for water fitness instructor.)

Career & Technical Education:  Business Information Technology, Computer Drafting and Design, Computer Information Systems, Dimensional Metrology, Electronics, Heating, Refrigeration, A/C, Metallurgy, Nursing and Welding.  Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree or directly related experience and training required.  Master's degree preferred.

Lifeguards

Jefferson College is seeking applicants for lifeguards for the pool.  Part-time, flexible schedule.

Qualifications:  Must be certified as a lifeguard.  Experience preferred. 

Salary:  $8.50 per hour.

Part-Time Nursing Instructors 

Jefferson College has openings for part-time clinical instructor positions. BSN required.  Current medical-surgical, pediatric, and maternal-child nursing experience needed.  Prior clinical instruction experience preferred but will assist in education for clinical instructor positions.

ATS Substitute Teachers 

Jefferson College is seeking Substitute Teachers for the Area Technical School for high school/college-level credit trade and technical courses. Programs will range from Automotive Technology to Applied Communications taught on the Jefferson College Hillsboro campus.

Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 60 college credit hours.  Must have a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate or be willing to apply for such upon hire.  A valid K-12 Missouri Teacher's Certificate will suffice. 

Salary: $70 per day, $35 per half-day.
