About the Jefferson College Community Chorale
Jefferson College has a long and rich tradition of choral ensembles for vocal majors and other college students who wish to participate in choral singing.  The Community Choral serves the needs of evening students and Community members who wish to sing for personal enrichment.

The current conductor, Robert Howard, is new to Jefferson College and began teaching in August of 2009.  Mr. Howard hopes to continue the fine choral tradition established by Richard Bell and Dennis Nall.

Howard has gathered three decades of choral conducting experience at St. Louis Community College at Meramec and Eliot Unitarian Chapel in Kirkwood and is currently the conductor of the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorale.  Mr. Howard is also an experienced composer whose works have been performed by The Bach Society of St. Louis,  Masterworks Chorale, The St. Louis Chamber Chorus,  St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Webster University Orchestra, Gateway Symphony Orchestra, and the ensembles of the Belleville Philharmonic Society.
