Sarah Bright has been the Director of Tech Prep at Jefferson 
College since June 2006.  She earned her Associate of Arts degree from 
Jefferson College and her Bachelor of Science degree with a 
major in Business Education from Southeast Missouri State University.  
For both she graduated summa cum laude.  While pursuing her 
Bachelor's degree, she student taught at Festus, Seckman, Oran, and 
Perryville High School.  After graduation, Sarah was a Business Teacher for 
the Advance R-IV School District.  At Advance, she instructed high school and 
junior high students in the areas of entrepreneurship, multimedia, computer 
business applications, business technology, business law, keyboarding, 
bookkeeping, accounting, and introduction to business.  Additionally, she 
advised numerous student groups, including Future Business Leaders of 
America, Student Council Club, Newspaper Staff, and she coached volleyball.  
Sarah is a member of many professional organizations including the 
National Tech Prep Network, the National Association for Tech Prep 
Leadership, the Missouri College Career and Technical Education 
Administrators, and the Association for Career and Technical Education 
both local and national.  In addition, she serves as the Certified Professional
Staff Committee President, Missouri Tech Prep Grantees Chair, Go Green
Committee Chair, and she is on numerous public school advisory committees.
