Respiratory Therapy Program Print

 The Respiratory Therapy Program at Jefferson College is an Associate of Applied Science Degree Program.  At the end of the program you will be eligible to sit for the National Boards to become a Respiratory Therapist.

The Program consists of 20 credit hours of prerequisite courses, 12 credit hours of general education courses and 54 credit hours of classroom instruction, labs, and clinical site visits.

Jefferson College does not accept any Respiratory Therapy courses from another program. No credit granted for previous work experience.

Meet the Faculty

Classes: Monday – Friday (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Clinical Hours: 8- and 12-hour shifts that will include some nights and weekends; subject to change depending on semester.

Note:  Students are responsible for all travel expenses and some overnight stays.
