Located on the top floor of the Student Center, the ARC has full time staff that will provide quality academic advising for all students.  Students may want to visit with an advisor about transfer opportunities, academic and schedule options, academic status or any other academic matter.

Scheduled Appointments 
To ensure a time just for you, an appointment with an academic advisor may be made for your convenience.  Call 636-481-3209.

Walk in Advising Service
Students in need of an advisor may stop by between the hours of
8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday – Thursday and
8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday on the Hillsboro campus.
There may be a short wait during walk-in times, based on advisor availability. 

Arnold & Northwest Campus Advising
An Academic Advisor is available at the satellite campuses during the following times:

Arnold – Mondays - Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
                                   Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Northwest – Tuesday & Thursday  1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Good academic advising is critical to a student’s success.  All full-time, degree seeking students are assigned an academic advisor. Your academic advisor will serve as a guide and a mentor throughout your college career at Jefferson College.  

Do you have questions about classes? Are you looking for some help in classes, but do not know where to begin? The ARC is here to help! The ARC is available for all students, faculty and staff to ask questions, make referrals and help students succeed at Jefferson College!  

Students:
  Have concerns or questions?  Stop by the ARC (Advising and Retention Center) on the top floor of the Student Center building for assistance. You can speak to one of several academic advisors available. We can help with:

1) transferring on to 4-year colleges/universities,

2) job search assistance for our career/technical programs,

3) time management

4) study skills

5) test-taking concerns

6) family issues

7) and much more!
