Verification Information & Forms

The Department of Education selects 1 out of every 3 FAFSAs to be verified, or in other words audited, by the college's Student Financial Services Office.  If selected, the college is required to collect additional documentation from the student and his/her family in order to verify information provided on the FAFSA.  Verification must be complete in order to receive federal, state, and some institutional financial aid benefits. The process takes several weeks, so it is important to submit materials as soon as possible.  Please see the verification forms listed below and allow up to 4-6 weeks for processing.
