The mission of the Jefferson College Foundation is to support the growth and development of Jefferson College in whatever ways that are beneficial to its students, faculty, staff and campus facilities. We fulfill our mission by actively encouraging private gifts of cash as well as stocks and bonds, real and personal property, insurance, and in-kind from individuals, alumni, businesses, associations and service organizations. Funds are also raised through special events such as the Dinner & Theatre Combo, Pet Parade, Scholarship Ball, Jefferson College Glows, Fall Into the Arts, 5K Run/Walk and the Baseball Hall of Fame Banquet.
Founded in 1991, the Foundation continues to build relationships within our community—connecting a desire for making a positive difference in the lives of others through learning and cultural enrichment to giving opportunities at Jefferson College. The Foundation sincerely appreciates the support of its donors who not only impact today's students, but help ensure that Jefferson College will be here for generations to come.
Another way in which the Foundation supports educational opportunities at Jefferson College is by hosting fun and exciting events. Proceeds from our events provide scholarships for talented and deserving students in need of assistance. It also provides quality entertainment for members of the community and their families. During a time of economic uncertainty, the Foundation must assume a major role in meeting the needs of Jefferson College and its students. As part of a five-year $50,000 pledge by Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers for use in the Jefferson College Automotive Technology program, Dustin Dobbs, Customer Relations Manager Jerry Dunlap, and Human Resources Manager Ron Holland recently presented a $10,000 check to Jefferson College President Wayne Watts and Executive Director of Development Carol Kline during a visit to the Hillsboro campus.

Having spent a significant portion of their lives serving our country as members of the armed forces, the Jeffco Detachment 707 Marine Corps League in Arnold recently demonstrated their service to our community by donating $3,000 to the Jefferson College Foundation to create a grant for deserving students.
