Thomas Jefferson served as the third President of the United States from 1801 to 1809. He was a powerful advocate of liberty and a firm believer in individual rights.  At the age of 33, he drafted the Declaration of Independence and labored to make its words a reality.  Jefferson College takes its name from Thomas Jefferson and reflects the ideals he set forth in fostering hope, talent and opportunities for all people.

The Thomas Jefferson Society is made up of individuals who have supported Jefferson College with an endowment or with a planned gift through life insurance, trusts, charitable gift annuities, bequests by wills and other instruments.
