NJCAA ACADEMIC AWARDS (Spring 2006-Present)

NJCAA AWARD FOR Exemplary, Superior, and Pinnacle GPA Achievement (New in 2011)
In 2011 the NJCAA changed the Academic All-American Award to incorporate three levels of academic achievement.  Jefferson College does include Dual Credit and AP Credit in the student GPA's for both eligibility and award recognition.  The following are the standards and student-athletes who qualified for the award:

Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA)

NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American Award (Spring 2006-2011)
A student-athlete who has completed three (3) semesters  of college work, and maintained an accumulative GPA of 3.8 or better with fourty-five (45) credit hours completed.  The student must have participated in at least one season at the varsity level.
