Biomedical Electronics Technician
The Biomedical Electronics Technician program will provide students with an intensive, hands-on experience that concentrates on general biomedical equipment with an introduction to diagnostic imaging. Students that complete the program will be qualified to take the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) CBET and the CompTIA A+ certification exams. The program curriculum is under revision to align with current industry standards. (Associate of Applied Science degree only).
Students enrolled in the Biomedical Electronics Technician program will gain first-hand experience with these technologies. The program will introduce new students to the basic concepts of electricity and progress to an understanding of automation programming and industrial robotics control or bio-medical electronics technology.
