The Respiratory Therapy Program at Jefferson College is an Associate of Applied Science Degree Program. At the end of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the National Boards to become a Respiratory Therapist.

The Program consists of 20 credit hours of prerequisite courses, 12 credit hours of general education courses and 54 credit hours of classroom instruction, labs, and clinical site visits.
No credit granted for previous work experience.
Classes: Monday – Friday (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) varies by semester.
Clinical Hours: 8- and 12-hour shifts that will include some nights and weekends; subject to change depending on semester.
Note: Students are responsible for all travel expenses and some overnight stays.
